DANA & EYAL

OUR STORY
Swipe Right (Almost)
Like most modern miracles, it started on Raya. Dana nearly swiped past Eyal — something about “too many sunglasses” and “definite player energy” — but a rare moment of optimism (and good Wi-Fi) made her pause. One message turned into a conversation, and before long, two people on opposite coasts were immediately acting like timezone differences were just a minor inconvenience.
A Love Story Told in Flight Miles
For a while, it was all FaceTimes, flight confirmations, and cross-country weekends that ended far too quickly. Eyal learned the best LAX terminals for red-eyes; Dana learned that New York winter coats weigh roughly as much as small furniture. Somehow, it worked — because when it’s right, even JetBlue can’t mess it up.
Winter, Meet Dana
Eventually, Dana made the move to New York — in the dead of winter, to her everlasting disappointment. The palm trees were replaced by snowdrifts, and the “endless summer” by radiator heat. Still, New York began to feel like theirs: new routines, new adventures, and a shared sense that they were exactly where they were meant to be. (She still brings up LA at least once a week.)
A ring in the holy land
Two years later, life came full circle in Israel — a place that’s always felt like home in more ways than one. On a quiet Tel Aviv evening, Eyal brought Dana to his parents’ old neighborhood — the same streets filled with stories and echoes of his family’s life there. When he proposed, it felt less like a grand gesture and more like a homecoming — the past and future quietly meeting in one perfect moment.
Still Debating LA vs. NY
From a questionable Raya profile to a proposal halfway across the world, theirs is a story about timing, trust, and finding home in each other — even if one of them still insists LA has better weather.
